Today's sketch challenge for the Temple of Cartoon Mojo was The Powerpuff Girls. I wanted to draw more than just the girls, so I picked me the sickest group of kids in Townsville- The Gangreen Gang. Awww yeah. [I realized about halfway through that technically they are all dead kids. What! ]
 

10 Pages of Voodoo

For the Winter quarter, in Studio II I was required to do a project of my own choosing. I've been tossing around my idea for a webcomic called Voodoo in Stereo; which is about a guy finding a haunted boombox and being coerced by the spirit of the boombox to help it find its living body in exchange for help on getting a girl. (It's ALWAYS a girl, isn't it?)

So here are the first ten pages, a sort of 'prologue' to what I ultimately plan to do. Checka the slideshow to read them!



 I think I really started to understand what I wanted my art to look like from about the 6th page onward, I got a little more comfortable with my inks. These are far from perfect and I've since gotten feedback on how to fix them for if these are ever published, but I really learned a lot from doing this and I'm eager to get the next chapter started. It's thumbnailed- I just need to get my butt in action.
